The Peak District was the first of Britain's national parks, spanning over 540 square miles over beautiful countryside and landscape. Offering a depth of cultural heritage that delves deep into our history, the areas sees Britain's history etched throughout the amazing landscape.Having always been a heaven for walkers there are plenty of opportunities to get out and about, and from May right through until August.

Derbyshire plays host to the ancient ritual of well dressing. An extremely unusual custom with it's origins shrouded in mystery, many towns and village around the Peak District continue this custom today and provide spectacular examples of the art.
