OF THE PEAK HOTEL was a destination enjoyed by Alice Beer
in the television Holiday program. She stayed here on a bed and
breakfast basis and was delighted with the local gentle walks along
the River Dove and also hired a bike along the 13 mile Tissington
Trail. Why not follow her example and enjoy a gentle but healthy

Roger Peveril
was the illegitimate child of Oliver Cromwell and the Peveril
family also owned the Peveril Castle at Castleton. The romantic
ruins and the village are well worth a visit. |
